What is interesting, even people who are not in a good physical shape, are overweight or lead a sedentary lifestyle can do CrossFit. CrossFit is recommended even for the seniors. All depends on the approach and increasing the difficulty level in a skillful way.
Why is CrossFit a good idea?
How can you benefit from doing CrossFit (other than you will be as agile as Rambo)? Well, even developing the individual areas of physical fitness has great impact on your body. Athletes who do CrossFit on a regular basis have more bone density and a stronger immune system. Their risk of developing a heart disease, a stroke or depression is lower. No wonder because the whole body is engaged in the workout.
Where can I start doing CrossFit?
You can actually do it anywhere but a gym will be an excellent place to get started. You have various equipment there (such as kettle balls, a punching bag, weights or rowing equipment) that will allow you to complete your comprehensive CrossFit workout. Building a workout plan will certainly be a starting point. It is a good idea to work with a trainer or a person who has been doing CrossFit for a long time. Especially that you can easily get an injury while working with the weights.

For CrossFit to be effective, you need two elements – regularity (the workouts should be frequent, for example every other day) and the right diet, full of veggies, healthy fats and low-IG carbohydrates.
